All Aboard for the 32nd Annual Historic Manassas Railway Festival!
Celebrate the rich railroad history of Manassas with exciting activities for all ages. Explore model train displays, browse train memorabilia, and shop with specialty vendors. The festival is free to attend and runs from 9a.m. to 3p.m.. Don't miss the chance to embark on a scenic train ride aboard the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Excursion Train (must purchase tickets)! Departing from Manassas, this unforgettable journey will take you to the historic Town of Clifton and back. Train departures are at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. PLEASE NOTE for the train rides: The 501st Regiment of Troopers will be present on the 10am and 11am trains. The Mirabel and Belle Princesses will be on the 12pm and 1pm trains.
You can purchase tickets at this location, or by visiting the Train Depot located at 9431 West Street, Manassas, Va. Tickets are $9 ($10 for credit cards). Excursion tickets are a popular item so we highly recommend purchasing ahead of time. Please arrive early and be mindful of the road closures.
Remember, the festival will feature a wide array of vendors, food, train displays, memorabilia, entertainment, raffles, and more! Don't miss this exciting opportunity to experience train travel and celebrate Manassas' railway heritage!
